I have been recieving those emails for quite a while now, and I do use email. If you look at the link in your browser its going to a non-ebay website that they have spoofed to store user names and passwords...

I had a big problem with ebay due to something like that. Someone got my account information and was making alot of purchases, or at least, bidding alot then not paying. I wasnt getting any email notifications about it because they changed the email address on my acct. I got it all straightened out, but started a new acct with a new email address anyway. I dont use it much, but it still sucked when I found out alot of people I didnt know where mad at me for things I didnt do.

<---- Sky http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8.../FIREdevil.gif As of 5.25.05 my bike has 28,000 miles. (Goal of 40,000 by the end of the year.)

Well they call me the breeze, cause I keep blowin down the road

I generally delete all emails from ebay unless it's a seller question. Most of them are fakes and spoofs, or ebay advertisments for crap I don't care about. The fakes are usually easily picked out.. if nothing else, the Asian FOB style test of speling on you account suspend now plz click link here verify you account infromation. Fail to click link result in acct, unverification plz do not suspend click link now. Two continue service with us.

heh It's usually not that bad, but it is always obvious that it was not written by a person whos primary language is English. The links ofcourse do not lead to a real ebay address either.

Sadly, if you're dumb enough to click-click-click on everything without looking closely, you probably deserve it. (not directed at anyone in particular).
