Sprint Trio 650

Hi,

Anyone have one of these? My IT guy recommended for me to go this route for a PDA phone that synchs with my email. Sprint has a corp rate of $329 and has a 2000 minute a month deal that includes unlimited email for $100ish. Oh, I can add phones at almost no cost and up the plan to something like 6000 minutes if necessary.

Thanks,

Bruce

Bruce,

I've had my 650 for two months now and love it. Web access is a little slow, but when you are used to DSL, it's gonna be.
Battery life is pretty good as long as you don't use the camera too much. The 1GB expansion card is a lifesaver too.

YMMV

Good phone but sprints service signal sucks. you might want to try a blackberry from another carrier like Cingular or nextel instead.

Verizon just came out with a bluetooth blackberry. Right now it's only available to their business customers. It should be available to everyone in a month.

if you like the PDA, but hate Sprint, you can use that smartphone with Cingular too. They recently started support for that device on their networks too

I've heard from a couple that sprint signal sucks. I'm coming off Verizon and lately their signal has been sucking too so I'm not too happy with them. My partner has sprint and says he has no signal problems. Go figure. I was looking at the new Blackberry phone too, but decided to take a pass as I think the Trio is the better PDA. Well nothing major has jumped out so I guess I'll go with what my tech guy wants me to do.

Thanks for the feedback.

Bluetooth blackberry...

..should blow them all away.

Most of the guys I work with have either a 600 or 650 and like them a lot. I've had the 300 for almost 2 years now and find Sprint lacking in a lot of ways.

I'm waiting for the Verizon Bluetooth Blackberry before I upgrade.

Unfortunately I needed something yesterday. My Verizon phone has been dropping calls left and right. I pulled the trigger on the 650 with Sprint. I'll deal with it for 2 years. Just think what will be out by then!
