Everyone needs a good helmet

Everyone needs a good helmet so I thought I'd pass around the deal I found. GoMotoShop is closing out Suomy Helmets on ebay.

hey, speekin of helmets!! i just picked up my track leathers and my sidi race boots. so ive been lookin for a top-o-the-line helmet. my problem is that i dont know shiz bout which ones are good. i really need/want "the best"!! can any1 help with which to get and where to get the best deal?

A Suomy Spec1-R or Arai is the top of the line.

I will be temped to get a black or white spec1R at those prices.

Look at the motocycle show and try them on. It can wait a week.

Not a big fan of the Suomy.

Arai is good
right now the Shoei X-11 is the best helmet money can buy. in my Opinion


but nontheless, if you want a new helmet come talk to me at chicago cycles, inc before you buy

cheap helmets are old helmets

most helmets are old when put on closeout at that price, IE closeout that people buy cheap, it does not have anything to do with being "new" if it sits on the shelf the air gets at it and eats away at the polystyrene on the inside.
just a thought.

My helmet was labeled 2002 which isn't that old.

The best helmet money can buy is one that fits you well. Try on a few different models and sizes. My suggestion is to go to the Motorcycle show and have one of the vendors fit you. They can change out the interior pads to get the perfect fit.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
