How do we treat women riders?

No one appreciates women that ride sportbikes more than me

So while I was out driving around today, I perked up when I saw a chick on an R6. I think that I have seen her a couple of times before. Well, I had the opportunity to pull along side of her at a red light. She was exceptionally attractive, from what I saw (she had on boots, jeans, jacket, helmet). I invited her to stop by Strats in Villa Park this spring/summer. I know a couple guys that are hoping to meet a girl who rides, and Anna is always looking to grow her posse, so it seemed like a good idea.

Her reply was something to the effect that she would not participate in any CLSB crap, and she went on to say that she was mistreated by CLSB'ers whenever she tried. This does not sound like anything that I remember in the last couple of years, but if it is true ....knock it off! She currently rolls deep with CR.

My plea ..... guys be nice to the ladies. I for one would love to see a lot more female participation

brian, thats catswithlights?

she is a mod on c.r. and she along with others have no idea what there talking about other then the ill follow the rest and just hate, when they have no idea what there hating or what not.

she is all for drama and its plain to see on there board.

dont sweat it, and thanks for trying to spread the word.

to bad shes rolled up in c.r. and hates clsb for a reason unknown, and loves to cause drama over it.

i also hopes she does stop by and hang out sometime, infact i hope all of c.r. comes down and hangs out sometime, they have came a long way in the right direction since they ran away and decided to start that site.

they are have been trying to safer and more responsable riders, kinda like what we always stood for.

its all good on 2 wheels.

I figured that might be the case

Wednsday at Strats has grown beyond the walls of CLSB though, I told her that it was not CLSB only .... she then proceeded to leave the light at Mach 5

yep since we have been doing strats on wends it has turned into a muti crew hang out.

which the only haters are c.r. of CLSB old drama dries hard with them, i hope this year they turn a new leaf and put down there ego's and come hang out and maybe do a big ride.

MOST of them have learned to keep the stunts out of the group rides, leave the drinking to a cab ride home.

just like us all we like to party cut loose, but everything has a place and time.

something i still do get my chops busted about, but atleast its helped riders in our clubs, and i will never stop, even if it means people hate me cause what i preach is right.

now i might not do it all myself, doesnt mean what i said was wrong

I see a lot of our members on C.R board maybe they should spread the word that we are not bad boys/girls at all. They require that evry visitor register before accessing any discussions?

Kudos to Brian, in spreasing the word.

If one chick is going to lump over 2500 members into one category, then who the cares what she thinks. Besides, some of us belong to both boards, so it makes her comments kind of stupid.

I'm on CR too and more of a observer... But Cat is cool as ice!
I may not ever join them on a ride, cause its not my style.. not because they are bad riders or bad people. I can respect them dont forget we were all wild and carefree too
(or at least wished we were)

She is tough..but from what I can see, she is only standing by her crew.

Brian, you want more girls on the site? Stop trying to pick 'em up IN YOUR TOW TRUCK!! lol wtf Nothin' says class...nothin' drives a woman wild...like a guy in a tow truck.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

We all have better things to do than worry about 1 person or a few people male or female lumping 2500 members of this board into a trash heap. The problem isn't here it's her's. Do you even want to associate with someone with that type of attitude, even if you think she might be cute?

Lupi, great vid.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Hmmmm I, like Brian try to spread the word about CLSB. This week at the Metra station I left a number of notes on bikes telling them about CLSB. I do this so often, I'm thinking of getting business cards printed up with my screen name and the website and a brief statement about who we are. I would love to have more women riders on the board, and would love to have more women riders in my age range. Personally I have always enjoyed riding with Anna and Michelle, they seem to have a calming effect on the rides, or at least for me.

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

ok, i see this going down hill soon.

so i would like to make a closing statement.

hopefully 2005 brings a new leaf for them, and good will to all on 2wheels no matter what club there from.

come for bike night to hang and meet people on wed at strats, where CLSB started it for the sportbike community in whole.
