How to backup Yahoo!mail folders???

Does anyone have a clue how to back up all of the Yahoo mail folders you may have if you use Yahoo mail? I ask because latley I have heard people complain that their accounts have been erased or hacked and even after contacting Yahoo they cannot recover anything. I have alot of stuff I want copied. I know I can create another account and forward it to them but is there a better way to export this info to a file?

I use MS Outlook ot download all my e-mail from the Yahoo server. However, you must pay extra to upgrade yoru account ot have that type of access.

You coudl also forward all of your messages to another e-mail service

Yep! Just export your Yahoo! emails as a .pst file (Outlook) and if you should loose you emails, import the .pst back to Yahoo!

Thanks. I have a regular account with no pop access but then I remembered I recieved a pop account with my shitty yahoo dsl. I will forward it to that one then get my Mozilla Thunderbird or MS outlook configed with that account and get everything. Lot of work forwarding every email but worth the time if it ever goes down. Thanks again.
