EZ UP tents, i think i found a decent price?

i went to sams club, for some reason i dont remember them being this cheap before?

i bought a 10x10 EZUP plus it also had the 4 zipper walls included and a sign post attachment "you need to have a sign made up though"

for like 200 bucks!

is that cheap? or get ripped off, i bought a few of them for work, and 1 for myself for the track.

all colors were WHITE though.

I paid $90 for my 10x10 at Sportmart at the end of the year close out

No walls though. They have to be worth 25-30 each lol

If it's 10x10" at the canopy, not the base, I'd say you faired well. I bought one at Sportmart also, paid around a $100 for EZ-up look alike. Forget what brand it is but it's nice and I've used it around 15 times without any issues, including a rainy weekend at putnam. Wish I had sides that day, ended up zip-tieing a tarp to a couple sides to keep the rain out.

sounds like a deal. How nice is it to have one at the track? as opposed to having nothing at all?

it really is strudy, well built, and the canvas top? is a nice build.

the thing is a monster to me in size, its a solid 10x10 too.

as far as the track on a hot sunny day?

BIG PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

even if its 70 and sunny? BIG PLUS when you are hot from racing around in your leathers, and staying 1/2 dressed all day long under the sun, TRUST ME

I just did a quick keyword search at harbor freight for Canopy and their were a bunch of results that are inexpensive. One of them comes with a half-wall "sun blocker" but none with full walls. Crap or good buys?

this one looks good http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91060

Not full sides, but for $80 WTF!

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

The 10x10 EZ-UPs with the slanted posts like mine go for about $80. The ones where the posts are completely straight are closer to $125. It all depends on the tent material and what the frame is made of. The aluminim ones are sweet and if I rememeber correctly are ~$200 for a 10x10.

My EZ-Up is shot...I'll be hangin with Ken this year.

I'm going to check out the one from Sam's tomorrow, if it looks good I'll have to justify it to myself, spending another 200 on track related stuff, and I haven't even been on the track yet! oh its a sickness, but I like it

KC if i wasyou, hold out bro, you never know? you might like to do the track, but you dont want to get in DEEP with it, there is no PROBLEM sharing with someone else, just try to work something out ahead of time to know who you might share with.

its what i would do, its ALMOST like going out getting a 20k built up race bike, and another 20k in gear and equipment to find out, AHHHH this really isnt for me...know what i mean

I'd get it, you can use it for other stuff, camping, picknics, backyard stuff. Plus, it makes trackdays so much better when you have a "Home".

That sounds about right for the good ones Ken, you are gonna love that thing!

I have one of the cheap azz ones where you have to assemble the poles, zip-ty sides on it if ya need them. It ROCKS! I use the thing for cookouts, camping, dirt rides, basically anything outside. It was given to me, but you can find them for like $70. The guy I got it from used it for a year and I've used it for 2 years, no holes, rips, bent tubes, or any other problems. I like the collapsible ones, but I just can't justify the extra $$.

Those who use the "EZ up", how long are you/did you get out of them?

They're key at the track, but they don't take wind very well. Right U-Dog and Grasshopper?
