Symantec doesn't even list "Worm.SomeFool.P" as a current virus threat. Even if they did, how would they be able to tell your computer is infected from their machines?

Besides, that random string of characters at the bottom looks rather spammish to me. I say ditch the e-mail; if you're really worried about it, point your browser at http://securityresponse.symantec.com (no link because you should do this manually) and check it out yourself.

The URL look legit but the virus name does not. Look at http://securityresponse.symantec.com...oval.tool.html for a description of that removal tool.

Anything that points directly to an exe is fishy to me. Delete it.

Everybody wants to push the shiny red button - but you shouldn't!

Just update, do a virus scan and be done with it. If you're ever unsure of something everyone knows - don't click on it! lol

Another fun one..

I am prettymuch junk mail free but for the past two weeks or so I get one just about every day from "Endofitem" it's always 27k and normally includes some virus that trend micro deletes. Anyone else getting these? I finally logged into the email configuration tool and made a filter to discard anything from Endofitem. Stupid friggin virus writing jerk offs.
