All bike stickers expire in March.
I have never gotten a motorcycle renewal notice from IL.

You really dont need the notice from the state if you have last years registration. If you dont have that you can go in with your plate#, year, make and vin . My better half has a couple currency exchanges, and shes the lic.and title expert(so she says).

Its not how fast you get there,But the condition you arrive.

Address is current...

correct address on registration every year, I just never get a renewal notice.
Odd? Yes, but the DMV also gave another motorcycle the same plate # while registration was still current. 1977 yamaha RD400 and 9? ZX-9 with same plates running around.

Why go to the DMV? I went to a currency exchange and they filled out all the paperwork to get my plates changed from PA to IL. I walked right in and it was done in like 10 minutes. I have heard horror stories about the DMV around here. In hillbilly land of PA I never had a problem with the DMV. I'll be registering the car soon and I'm going to Currency Exchange again.

to do the license plate sticker, does the currency exchange have to order the sticker or are they onsite all the time so that i can get the whole thing taken care of without having to go back

I think they have them onsite. But you can always call and double check the location you plan on going to.
