Happy Valentines Day!!!

Hey, just wanted to wish all the single people out there a Happy V day!!

Kind of a sucky day to be single, cause everyone askes what you got for Valentines. I hate that. But I hope Im not the only cyincal person out there, and I hope we all find someone soon.

Update:
I walked outside to check what kind of pipe was on my bike (Yes, I couldnt remember.) and found two roses stuck in the handle bars, with a note saying:

"I couldnt find any welding filler-rod, so I got you these instead."

No name on the card or anything, and I dont recognize the handwriting.
Im kind of nervous about the whole thing.

Ahhhhh, hillbillie love...it gets me all missy eyed.

The way I see it is if you do really love/care for someone you should try to show them that more than 2 days a year. Also not have to spend huge amounts of money either.

no Valentine's day for me after I had a meeting with my CPA a week ago. After he told me how much I owe Big Brother, I figure I'm gonna stay home and save money for a loooong time

V-Day ain't so bad. I'm lucky to have a low maintenance gal, but I still spoiled her with a nice 3 stone diamond ring... that can be traded in at full appraised value for another ring the in future.

Hell we even started having a general discussion about how much engagement rings cost... and she's like. I wouldn't want an expensive ring... I'd be afraid it would get lost or stolen... and besides I'd rather have a cheaper ring and save the money for somethign else in the future.

I strongly recommend to all single guys to find a girl that grew up in the country not in the suburbs. Much more realistic outlook on whats imrpotant in life.

Thats one thing I have never understood. When a girl gets mad at her guy for not spending tons of money on her. I hate being bought things (especially flowers).

I see your point cause flowers die, and love isn't suppose to.(but in real life sometimes love does too)

Okay I agree on the whole don't spend alot of money on a ring thing, but two days out of the year I can get some flowers and even if they do die, it's still nice to get them. Not demanding them and I don't except them, but it is nice to get them.

That friggen sucks considering you're a pretty smat girl! Join the crowd though. I felt the need to go drink last night, and trust me I did. Best way to deal with it is being around single friends also, and just bashing the day to all hell.

lol unbelievable. how do any of you think it's romantic when ya follow the herd and buy a gift on a pre-determined day? I'm not saying don't get a flower or something for yourg girl. I'm just saying it's better when it's dictated by your heart, not a date on a calendar. And trust me, girl will be in more awe when ya do it when she's not expecting it.

Happy belated Valentines Day to Texas Blonde & Allison See, now you girls have been acknowledged on Valentines Day. I hope you feel better.

I don't mind Valentines Day. I get the wife flowers and candy. I used to get the $75 roses, but they'd die 3 days later. Now, I get her a nice arrangement of assorted flowers that last almost 2 weeks, for half the money.

I also got my 2 little girls 1 rose each. I brought it to them at school. Seeing how happy they were, almost made me cry. It was priceless, so I'll never knock Valentines Day again.

I got a lot of father of the year votes yesterday.

I never really cared about V-Day much before (when I was single or not) but this year it was great.

We had an excellent dinner, I got a flower (I'd rather not have tons of them, but 1 is perfect) with a bow and then a really pretty heart necklace. He's pretty much been sweet all the time and it just makes is much sweeter that he doesn't feel like not going all out on V-Day either. Personally I like a guy that can be sweet all the time and still remember the "holidays" as well.

I found out who the mystery flowers were from. It was my friend Garret, another one of my friends (John), had told him to give them to me, then push for a date. John basically lied to Garret about how I felt about him. It was kind of fucked up. But I ended up having a delicious dinner (read 16oz T Bone) with Garret and we figured the whole thing out. So it was all good and we are still as good of friends as ever.

Oh, and I finally guaged my tongue up to a 6, and that made me pretty happy.
