Thank you CLSB!!!

I noticed my post count this morning, so for my 1000th post I decided to make a big thank you to everyone here, from the mods, to the riders, to amatuer comedians.

I found this site while poking around online about a year ago, looking for more info as I was trying to learn to ride w/o the MSF courses, as they were all booked up by the time I decided to buy a bike.

I started participating in the group rides and between those, and my weekly trips to/from strats, I got a lot of hours on the bike. Then with the help of others here I starting looking around into track events and within 3-4 months I had gone from never riding a street bike, to draggen foot pegs on turn 3 at Blackhawk Farms.

Another nice thing about this group is no one really gave me crap for starting out on a Ninja 250, in fact most people I met approved of that. But they also don't get down on new riders with 1000cc bikes either. Everyone seems to promote a general feeling of safety and concern, as most of the rides went along well, without major issues. If a rider went down, people where there to help, not to make fun of.

All in all, I guess I'm just taking a moment to thank everyone here for being cool, and also to let the newer guys see what they can be a part of when they hit up they rides this season.

It's sorta nice out right now, I think I'll go try out the new helmet today (I mean the fit, NOT the protection! lol)

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

It was good to meet you last year at BHF. One of the reasons I like teaching MSF is to watch and see the true enthusiasm of new riders. Same for trackdays. It's cool to see new people take to the track and the sheer joy and excitement they get from it. Looked to me like you were having a blast that day, and that's what it's all about.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.
