Thanks for the link. I used to use that one when I was a Tomb Raider addict on the original playstation.

lol....yeah

I've gotten through several missions without them. Right now I'm stuck on the fastest boat and steeling the tank. Somehow, I lost my shotgun which I think would be better than the assault rifle you get over by the boat for wasting those guys guarding the boat. So maybe that will work for me. As far ast the tank, I've killed the guys buy stealing a semi and running over them, but I can't figure out how to get in the damn tank. I'm wondering if you gotta get in from the top instead of that side door.

um, GTA:Vice City is so passe. Everyone's doing San Andreas now... geez.

oh, XBox doesn't have GTA:SA yet?

Anyway, there's no way at all I could have beaten VC on PS2 without cheats. Just try the last mission without them, yeahhh. I'm sure people have done it, but I'd die after a minute. The weapons cheats rock. Molotov Cocktails, chainguns, flamethrowers, etc anytime you want. Some cheats ruin your reputation and some are irreversible.

i dunno, i do use cheats, but that's after i beat a game, or to dick around. I could never use a cheat to finish the game, because - well, that's not really beating the game.

true....I was also made aware that using the cheats on Vice City will actually eliminate your chances to winning the game.

You can still beat the game, but your score is reduced everytime you use a cheat.

LOL...I'll have to give that a try. I just read about all sorts of cool stuff for this game on cheatplanet. I think I may have made a mistake by concentrating on all the missions without buying any save points or garages. I'll have to stop and rob the store and buy some hideouts and find some of the hidden packages. Plus, appearantly I should have stolen Diaz's car and put it in the garage. I guess there is no going back to mission's is there?

I figured that much.....I didn't know it was Really important just yet. I thought the missions would get me enough green to do what I need. What I'm saying is that I know now that I have to rob stores and beat people up for their $$$$ too, or I won't ever have enough cash to beat the game.

GTA:San Andreas is coming out soon....you're about 2 years behind Not to mention Xbox2 (NextBox or whatever they will call it) could be out as soon as 2005/2006.

Better late than never!

I've got a few games I plan to put up for sale soon.

You should really look into Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory which releases in a couple of days.

I also play alot of Ghost Recon 2...awesome military sim.

I've got Ghost Recon 2, but haven't quite figured it out yet. It is pretty cool though. I may be behind but these things are fresh for me. San Andreas is coming out in June and I'll be waiting. Although I hear Vice City is better anyway. As far as the new Xbox.......well I'm prepared for that too. My wife gave me this one for my birthday. She usually doesn't buy the warranty with things at Best Buy, but for $20 they included a $150 credit toward the new console when it comes out.

Besides....did you expect me to do this before I finished my degree????? I think you know better John

$150 is nice, but ya still will get raped on the new stystem. Same as when xbox came out was $600, with the $150 off it still woulda been ludocrys.

I doubt it's gonna come earlier than late '06. if it does, i'm still gonna hold at least a year. Have other people pay the crazy $ and work our the bugs

I was told the new xbox will be around $350-$400 when it comes out. That won't be bad with the $150 credit. I may hold out a bit though too depending on how much they want and how much of an upgrade it REALLY is.

The single player on GR2 is pretty good...takes a couple weeks to finish it. Try these cheat codes...

During non-Live gameplay, pause and go to In-Game Options. From there, select Enter Cheats. Enter these codes there; a message will confirm entry

Complete Mission: B,(x2), x, y
Refill - B, (x2),X, (x2)
Superman - B, (x2), X, A
Team Superman - B, (x2), X, B

You really need to get on LIve to experience the full potential of these games. Like bikes, there is a huge community that plays together. I belong to a "mature" Xbox forum and there's always a good group of gamers willing to play. It gets pretty annoying trying to play with the general public...you run into a ton of cheaters, 8 year olds who swear every other word, and just a bunch of morons.

Brian all you need is the cheat codes for weapons and lower wanted level, those two codes and you can own the city. And missions are only a small part of the game

Stealing the tank is all about fire power, rocket launcher from on top of a building is alwasy best then lower wanted level cheat and drive away
