Whats an Arai helmet worth?

I bought it for $510 2 years ago. It has one season on it worth 1000 miles of riding. How much can I get for it?
I was thinking $350, am I way off?

I would say in the same area depending on the model and colors.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

if the liner is removable/replaceable that might be a selling point to someone. the buyer can get a new one and it turns it into a brand new helmet.

Head protection

Arai helmets should still have good value. But hey, what do I know? I do know that the inside pads are replaceble/washable. So that my cushions in my helmet aren't stinky: I use a good head balm and apply a wonderful skin lotion to my face.

(thinks, that doesn't sound right!)

Um, good fortune with your sale!

Never understood why people would buy a used helmet. Theres no way to check it yourself to see if its still safe.

Risk Vs. Reward. Risk it's integrity to save $$ .
With my helmet it's never been down. Whoever buys it will just have to trust me. They'll also save a couple hundred bucks.
Unless they go on E-Bay like Kruz said and buy a knock off that wouldnt protect an egg from a 4 inch fall

I know that with shoei helmets, you can send them in to check that they are still good. I don't know if you had an unpleasant experience with ebay, but ebay can be your friend. I got some really great stuff from there for a very good price. But then again, you must use caution on ebay.

I think you better get ready to collect dust then. Follow ebay or any of the race BBS's wera or ccs and you will see what the going price is. I have only bought Arai's for the last 15 years and my guess is you will only get $200 tops! If you do get more I will be suprised. I hope you do get more but I am being realistic be prepared to take a very big hit. You way over paid for the helmet. Sorry
