say a prayer for my nephew...

last night he was hurt badly while trying to ride one of the nieghborhood kid's electronic pocket bike (it's a long story, so please, no preaching)...he's eight, and has sustained a very substantial head injury...diagnosed with a fractured skull, and bleeding of the brain, he was shipped to iowa city hospitals...he knows where he is, who he is, and who is around him, but they are having a tough time keeping him awake...i'm sure he's in the best of care, and will prolly come out ok, but if i could ask each of you to say a prayer for him it would be appreciated...kids will be kids, and no matter how serious, accidents do happen...

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

now this is the reason why i love this forum so much, thank-you so much for the kind words...they moved him out of intensive care this morning...the bleeding has stopped, and so has the swelling...numerous cat-scans have been done to make sure of this...the hospital is taking his injury very seriously, which is the way it should be...i'm very greatful for all the doctors and nurses looking after him... i'll keep you all posted on his condition...again, thank-you...
