CPR Certification

Hi everyone,

I have been in contact with our CPR instructed from my company and he is willing to offer a CPR class for CLSB members. There will be one class offered and the date will be determined by the group. It will be any Saturday in May.

Please vote on the poll only if you are going to attend the CPR class. If enough people respond a second class can be offered.

Once the class date is set it will be by pre-registration only. Right now the cost is approximately $30 and the class will be approximately 6-7 hours with video, instruction and certification.

Once a date is set more information as far as location of class (most likely our Elk Grove Village Office) and start time will be posted.

If you have any questions please PM or email me.

Thanks!

Janel

I'm not getting any money. The total cost includes the $$ to certify us and his fee of $5.

ehhh... not to bust balls here but I'm a CPR instructor also... If there's enough interest I could offer everything he is for $20, I'd need 10 people though. Video's, manikins, trainer AED's.... all that jive

"the money to certify us" is what gets me... I get CPR certification cards for $3ea., that about sums up the cost of getting certified.

I'll have to double check on his total cost then. I know that he is ARC certified and will be getting our cards through them. I'll have to get back to you.

maybe that's why, I'm certified through American Heart Association. He may have other fees to pay also if he's renting the equipment.

Maybe??

I'm still waiting on a response from him, we have a very large estimate due today.

If his fee is still higher than the $20 you suggested it might be better for you to offer the class to save a few bucks

now this is nice to see....most sites would not even talk about something like this...

i was cpr trained back in high school...and was a trained basic medic when i was in the service...there is stuff that everyone can learn about this type of stuff...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!
