Bike Vacations?

Anyone planning a vacation by motorcycle this year and, if so, to where are you traveling?

How many miles did you rack up last year? I've done PA, NY, VT, and NH in one trip before.

Last year about 20K.

And I've already done 3800 miles since January 1, 2005...

It will be 4800 by next Monday going to KY this Friday

It's looking like a 30K year

I may be in for a Circle Tour this year, I did it a few years back and it definitely was a good time, went to Canada too. Got a decent sport tourer I have been promised I can borrow for a weekend, can't think of a better way to abuse it, oops, I mean USE IT.

Some friends are headed to KY at the beginning of June. Once school's out I'll start into hyper mileage mode.

30K. A very good number!

I haven't done any decent mileage in Canada for a couple of years. I was hoping to make a trip up to Quebec this summer. We'll see.

I have an 1100 GoldWing from 1982. I love touring on my GSX-R but that thing is cool.

I riding with a couple of cheeseheads to a rally for FZ1 owners at Deals Gap in mid-June. We're riding round trip (not trailering), and spending a long weekend there.

Good ideas, all. I need to go to "The Gap" and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I was hoping to get to the Angeles Crest Highway this year but, that will not happen. Moving on.
