My Mom and Cancer

My mom has breast cancer and she just finished chemo last month and started radiation a few weeks ago. A little over a week ago her chemo doctor had her get a bone scan and it looked like the cancer had entered her bones. She had a few more tests done this past monday and we found out today that the cancer is in her bones. Its in her right 5th rib and pelvic region but thankfully there are no real signs that its in her spine. She is going to have an MRI soon just to make sure her spine is alright. What this means is that she has to start chemo again with a different drug called naval bean or something like that along with an antibody that i can't remember the name of. Basically she is going to be on this for the rest of her life. Her doctor said that she has a really aggressive cancer and that is why it came back so soon. They will continue with those drugs for as long as she responds to it. Please pray for strength. This is the hardest thing my family and I have had to go through.

Your mom and your family will be in my prayers tonight.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Stay positive as much as you can. The body will always have trials and tribulations, but the spirit can stay strong no matter what!

Good fortune to you and especially your mom.

Peace

This sounds like what my mom went through after she broke her hip. PM me if you want to talk, ride, work out, vent, take it out on the bag, whatever.....
