That duh wasn't toward you. It was toward myself after I watched it a second time when I realized it gave the names of the skaters and Colin was one of them

I was out there once about a year ago. That place isn't very forgiving when you slam. Talk about no give. Who do you skate with? A few of my good friends are there all the time.

this was in sports illustrated. all the shots are REAL. Obviously took several takes but apparently they shoot hoops all the time to warm up for skating and all the shots are real. Amazing.

I head over for the weekend AM old man sessions. Do you know the brothers, Scott and Russell, also Mark and Eric. Bunch of other dudes too, very cool people there. I've met a few peeps there as well, guy named Ben, Shawn. I'm not very good there, pretty tough skating, not for the timid. I pad up with lid too, 8' is a long way down on hard ass concrete. I just carve and 50/50 grind a bit. I just started up again last October so it's a learning process, long way from street ollies and boardsliding parking blocks that's for sure.

I sucked really bad the last time I was there and I slammed pretty hard in the bowl. I tend to get hurt worse skating than racing so I'll probably not skate until racing season is over but may head up there just to catch up with some old friends. By the way .. Scott and Russell.. are they those little twin kids?

We could make a video like that; it would just take 3 full days of mostly airballs to compile enough lucky shots

shadrach is right! While I was incarcerated at the Menard Correctional Center in the early 90's I was able to make baskets by bouncing the ball off of three walls. Took me a few days for me to make it the first time but after I figured out how hard to throw the ball and exactly at what angle, I hit like 4 out of 10 all the time.

We should make a video like that but instead of skateboards we could use fiddys and have like someone do an endo while spinning the rear wheel and have the ball be tossed up by the spinning rear wheel in the air at the basket, or maybe hitting the ball up by wheelie-ing. That would be awesome!

I think they're twins but they're like 40. I'm one of the grey hairs out there too. I haven't been in there in 2 weeks and my knee is still hurting from knee sliding, I'm going to try to make an AM session this weekend depending on weather.
