MSF this weekend 04/29/05

It looks like weather is going to be on an iffy side this weekend. So, for those of you who could not register for varius reasons, this is your chance to get into the class. Most of the time when weather is iffy people tend to not to show up and you have a greater chance of getting in.

Good luck.

A man should choose a friend who is better than himself. There are plenty of acquaintances in the world; but very few real friends.

Class starts at 6pm but show up a few minutes before hand so your name can be put into the lottery. Friday is all paperwork and bookwork but dress accordingly on Sat./Sun. MSF rides rain, shine or snow.

Great lakes. Go to the home page of CLSB and follow a link to NIU MSF and find GTL.

just as I have expected. 1/3 of registered did not show up. 50% of walk in got in. What is surprising that we had so few walk ins this weekend.

This weekend will be packed I bet. 75 degrees and sunny. When I took my class last October of last year, the puddles were frozen and the wind chills were in the negative range.
