WTF is with the price of things these days?

I go to buy a battery for my cordless phone at Wal-Mart, now it's a cheap $15 cordless phone and what do I see... The battery costs $20... WTF? Just over in the other isle, I can get pretty much an identical phone to mine that comes with a new battery for $15, so now I'm throwing away my old phone because, well shit, they are giving me $5 to take an extra phone with my battery. Who prices these things??

Some people are stupid enough to buy the battery @ $20 bucks! However, I would suppose that the battery your $15 phone uses is used in more expensive phones as well. And both probably only cost 50 cents to make.....that's the screwy part.

Buy the new phone, switch the batteries, then take back the one you bought.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Okay on a similar topic. I went to Wal-Mart to buy a new battery for the bike and was looking through the boxes to find the one I needede Once I find it, I open it just to see that every thing was in the box. Come to find out that it was an old used battery. Someone bought a battery, replaced the old with the new and return the old battery!

Keith and I couldn't help but laugh!
