Has anyone here heard or dealt with Cycle-ologist?

A friend of mine told me about these guys. I have tried to contact them for the past few days and have gotten no response. Does anyone here know anything about Cycle-ologist?

Their website is: http://www.cycle-ologist.com/

If anyone can tell me anything about them I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

I got my vanson leathers there last January. I got a nice deal on everything. Plus Robbie was pretty cool about helping me out.

I have their phone # 847-952-9320 only. Maybe he's on vacation or something this week.

I have tried calling many times. Just in case when I called they were exceptionally busy or something. I did not get an answer from their store phone, order line, or their 24hr emergency line. I have also sent them an email and received no reply as of yet.

I was hoping someone on these boards may know someone who works there or knows them and can find out if its the numbers that I have being messed up, or are they really closed, or what.

I would think, though, if they were closed, or on hiatus or something that they would post a message on their site. Or have their phones routed to an answering machine saying that they're out or something.

I was also kinda hoping that someone may live near them and can tell if they are still there, or if there a sign or something saying they're out of business or whatever.

I had trouble getting a hold of them when I ordered a back protector from them....they gave me the runaround so I went elsewhere...

I think Robbie is just a very busy man and I think this is not a full-time operation for him.

kruz is right...rob, kinda is like in an out of that place.

the best thing they have is full race suits to either try and and get fitted or maybe a couple of helmets laying around.

other then that the prices are not all that reasonable...and its VERY hard to get ahold of them.

all and all its one of those small shops gotta hit ot miss catching them...which means to me...not so great business tactics.

but he is a nice guy and will try to help anyone in finding something.

yes the store is still there, yes there #'s you have are correct, and yes its a pain in the ass to get ahold of anyone there.
plus he could away racing as well.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look for someplace else for my business. It is just too much hassle for me just to get ahold of them. I can only imagine how it would be if they had my bike and I couldn't contact them.

Does anyone here have a suggestion or 2 for where I would want to have work done on my 12R?

Specifically, the work I want done is:
Installation of Ohlins rear shock
Installation of Ohlins forks
Fit and installation of Marchesini wheels/Metzeler tires, sprocket.
Custom map on a PC3R

I don't have the room or the tools to do this at home, or I would. I am much more concerned with getting quality work rather than fastest turn-around time.

I see that 4 and 6 Racing has their own section here. Would they be interested in doing the work I need? I am interested in any suggestions or experiences.
Thanks.
