Go beat the crap out of the heavy bag at my gym untill I can't hold my hands up anymore. That keeps me from hurting anyone, or doing anything that I'll regret.

I am usually really good at bottling up anger. About two weeks ago I was invited to have the afternoon off of work for "allegedly" telling a customer if he didn't leave right now, I was gonna crack his chest open and rip his heart out. He left.

Usually I don't get that angry, but that guy pissed me off. From now on I think I'll just go for a nice little walk.

I try to walk away. I have a very bad habit of saying the first very rude, very mean thing that pops into my head. Most of the time I don't mean it, just want to be mean. So at least if I walk away I have a few more minutes to catch whatever wants to come out of my mouth before I regret what I say.

SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

uh, i have a short fuse a lot of the time but i really need to be pushed before I blow up. Sounds a bit contradictory but when i do get enraged i am not a physical person. I will say anything on my mind. If i am being threatened, and I wouldnt mind getting physical, I will ask for it. I will draw the other person to throw the first blow so i can claim defense. 9 times out of 10 the other person walks with me still talking trash.

i like to have the final word though

No offence, but this is a BAD move. Most street fights end with only one blow being thrown. It's best to not let it be his/hers. It doesn't work like it does on TV.

Most street fights end in one blow? No f'in way! Well, unless you take a cheap shot and hit them from behind. They are more like wrestling matches with a lot of rolling around and missed swings.

Only if you manage to get him/her to the ground. A fight shouldn't last more than 4-5 seconds. In street fighting, there are no cheap shots. The "wrestling matches" only occur when someone's tryin' to impress a lady.

street fights have been a rare occasion for me since i have only had 1 person actually take the opportunity to have the first shot. i would not say i am a street fighter by any standard so i am speaking from little experience. i did however beat the ever lasting shit out the guy that took the sucker punch. worst part about it...... the fight happened the night of Sept 11, 2001. The group that I got into the fight with was pretty drunk but so was I.

Bad day all around. Worse for them though. All the blood on me wasnt mine. Only street fight i have been in but i understand how brawls work.

what i was trying to get at is that i only use the offer of having the other person swing first in situations where i am mad enough and feel there is an opportunity for me to take the other guy. i dont just start throwing the offer out there with everyone i have a disagreement with. you would be surprised how many people back off when you show no fear and ask for a fight.

Depends on the situation. If some idiot in traffic cuts me off, I usually just swear until I'm not mad anymore.

Other times I try to watch what I say. I have a habit of being incredibly honest with people; which not everyone appreciates apparently.

4-5 secs?!...come on? You must be talking about a Chuck Liddell vs. 8th grade schoolgirl.

Unless the matchup is completely unfair, no way someone is going to get a clean knock out shot in 4-5 secs.
