I'm using sprint. It's a work phone and they have unlimited data. if I can get a 5250 emulator on this this I won't need a pc at all.

I have my 650 through Sprint Business services too. It's the best on the road business and contact management toy out there. On the installation disk is a word, excel and Power Point package. "Documents to go". They are great! For another $30ish you can upgrade to the pro version. Add an IR keyboard and you can do Word on the go. I love this keyboard.

I've bought multiple accessories from this guy and he is honest and well priced. Oh, you may want to look into a case, carcharger, spare battery and expansion card. I have found slightly better deals on cards than from Dan, but he sells OEM.
Except for specific instances I no longer carry my notebook when on the road. The only time I carry it is when I'm doing PPT presentations and someone else doesn't have a notebook and projector.

This is a pretty good site too.

Also, get it insured through Sprint for $5 a month! I already killed my original by using it in the rain. The $50 deductable was a whole lot better than buying a new one!

Lastly, Sprint level 2 support direct # 866-818-1944. Just log it in your contacts. Basic #2 customer support is useless for Versa mail and Biz Connect problems. It will save you 10-15 minutes if you need help. If you need them call on a land line as you will probably need to reset the treo during the course of service.

Lots of great info, thanks Ernie and Blade Runner. My company does have the insurance. Our sales rep told us he would not sell us them unless we got it. I'm trying to get MP3's on it and a VPN client at the moment.

Check out www.shadowmite.com for ROM updates to the Sprint...

I have cracked DVD's down to a 1Gb SD card, it is very very cool.

PTunes for streaming audio from winamp.com site...awesome for the road.

side note - newsgroups search for palm warez forums.

Oh my god, if I could post while on the road, I'd crash my truck

I can not get one of those.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Oh, get a BT headset ASAP. I have a Cardio and it works fine. The Caddy is a Motorola 850.
