I was just getting back to my place in Crystal Lake when it hit; you should have seen all the bikers scattering for home.

My patio chairs fell over, but it didn't hit me that hard. I'm probably less than a couple miles from you though.....

The storm started off fairly strong here but pussied out after a couple minutes and within 15 minutes the sun was back out.

I was working for the MSF @ COD today, came home to DeKalb around 3 to find my neighborhood streets covered in trashcans, busted trees, and bbq grills. I roll up in my driveway to find it blocked by what used to be my neighbor's giant trampoline, which is now in a million pieces. So I get out of my car, walk around to the front yard, and I have a collection of 3 dented bbq grills hanging out in the grass. I had 2 chairs on my balcony...emphasis on had. I look across at the other set of townhouses, and there's one of my chairs on the roof, minus a leg.

It was pretty cool seeing this black wall of rain moving in, lighting and all and the moving out in half an hour. That sun came on strong, now it doesnt even looked like it rained

Was planning on car/bike washing today and just finished. Gave all four ladies a good wash and wax. Took some nice pictures, will post later. gotta run to a bbq at my friends place, who has a strippers pole installed in his basement

yeah lots of fun

I was lucky enough to out in St Charles in the middle of nowhere when it hit on me on the bike. I had to ride it out in an open parking lot with my back against the wall of water. THANK GOD it tapered off in about 10 minutes - long ten minutes though. Now I am ordering rain gear.....

Rode right thru it on my SV. Damn those mesh jackets get heavy when they are wet. People in cages were looking at me like I just escaped out of the mental ward.

Real bad here. 65mph wind, hail, heavy lightning, heavy rain and I seen rotation in the clouds by the airport when lightning flashed. Not something that you really want to see while trying to keep the truck from being blown off the road.
