This was a Supreme Court decision, and I think a very ill-advised decision. I don't think law suits are going to do anything. It now requires the legislature to change the laws to reflect some sanity both on this issue and the issue of states's rights.

Homegrown marijuana for personal consumption is not an Interstate Commerce issue if it is never sold or crossing state lines by definition of the term. However, given states have passed their own laws DOES make this a states rights issue. Extortion of the states by withholding Federal money will probably follow.

+1

I've always wondered why this is legal.

I was listening to XRT on the way in this am, and they had some woman from Mad Mothers Against Everything Fun, or whatever organization it was. She complained that marijuana was a gateway drug, blah, blah, blah. What the hell does somebody dying of AIDS or cancer care about gateways?!? Just so everybody's on the same page, if you're dying, don't medicate your pain, or end your own suffering. That's bad mmmmmkkkk.

Thank god the moral right still runs the country, if they weren't, I'm sure we'd all be eating our young and sacrificing cute and fuzzy bunnies to some pagan god.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

lmao, that about sums up my weekend

ya its crazy overall, its like these wankers don't understand how would-be legit patients suffer, so extremely costly prescriptions with horrible side-effects are ok, but medical weed with trivial if any neg. side effects is bad...
