shipping hell

So, I called to checkup on the status of my bike being shipped, and the guy says "the damaged one?"

I just about shit my pants. Apparently it wasn't strapped down properly and fell. They claim the only damage is a broken screen and a scrached left-side mirror, but we'll see about that. I find it hard to believe that even the lightest of falls didn't also cause damage to the ferring and signals. The bike's plastics were brand new, so if there is so much as a scratch, they are going to replace them.

The guy seemed pretty cool about getting me compensated. Gave me his personal number and all that. The bike shows up tomorrow, so hopefully the damage is as light as they say, and hopefully they are nice about giving me cash for the parts.

Incidentally, finding parts for an mc18 is a PAIN!!!

ok, rant done.. and I still don't feel any better.
