Why don't Harleys get stolen more often? There are so many of em, and they are worth more than sportbikes. Prolly too heavy to steal I guess...

The parts dont fetch as much on EBay, also, cause they arent crashed as much, there isnt as big a demand for parts.

Becasue the young punks that are out stealing bikes whould rather have a sportbike to beat on for the night.

They take them just to trash them. they will steal a few bikes, take them somewhere secluded in the city an spend all night treating them like rented whores, then just dump them off somewhere or the police to find.
