Anyone having issues with AOL instant messenger?

I noticed over this weekend that it's been bouncing me off every once in a while and then connecting back up. It's done it in the past, but very infrequently. Now it's done it more steadily and continued through today. Don't think it's my connection because everything else seems to stay on just fine. Just wondering if anything is up before I go digging through my firewall and everything else.

Hmm, I guess for starters I could update AIM, but they keep adding more garbage to the newer version. (sigh)

DON'T use AIM client. Use, Trillian or any of a dozen other ones that don't bloat your machine with crapware.

Well on the downside my HD took a big rhino dump, so time to get a new one and hope I can salvage my old data. As for the AIM. I remove everything from it. Takes 10 minutes to go through and remove all the crap but it can be done.

On the hd side, there's a deal from Newegg.com for Western Digital SATA 250gig HD (16meg cache) 7200rpm for $122 just to pass along the deal.
