Talking Auto Show in Motion!!

It's this week Thursday through Sunday. Arlington Park race track in Arlington Heights. Is anyone going to this?? They are supposed to have the new GTO and Corvette! The best part is........ they let you drive it, although on a short, closed course in the parking lot. I went last year and it's a BLAST!!

www.autoshowinmotion.com

I'm signed up for Saturday.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

I've been to it for the past 5 years. I drove the LS6 GTO and the LS2 Vette both stick both were very very nice. Also drove the CTS-V which as we all know is a LS6 motor as well. Great fun, plus there's free lunch. The h2 track was prettty cool too.

Ahh. I already have a GTO and a Corvette. The lines are huge, especially on the weekends. I'll only go again if they start letting people drive the new Z06...

It's a cool idea, but they allow too many people in. If the lines were all < 5 min, everything would be better.

a few years back they had one in Oak Brook hosted by lexus, they let you drive all these lexus trucks over this mountain course and at the same time they also had the competition from GM, Ford, and Infiniti, etc. Me and my dad happened by it and it was pretty cool, we got to drive all these trucks that in my wildest dreams I will never drive and then eat food, I couldn't afford to order all for free.

I will be there at 8am on Friday. I went last year and as stated, the lines sucked at about noon on a Saturday. I am hoping/thinking they will be better at 8am on a Friday.

If I take any interesting pictures of ass-clowns taking out cones, I'll post them up in the gallery.

i have done it 2 years in a row.. all i go there for is the Vette.. drove a C5 Z06 one year and the C6 the other.. bad ass cars.. still perfer the Viper... when ladies see a vette "nice car!, midlife crisis?" but when you roll up the Viper "nice car, can i touch your dirty stick?"
