Advertising breast augmentation?

Have you guys heard this?

I was listening to b ninety sux yesterday, when a Dr. was advertising his plastic surgery services, and the ad focused on breast augmentation. If that is not fucked up enough, a sexy womens voice was used, and a couple of the main selling points for increasing breast size were:

"Increase your self esteem" ???
"Have clothes fit the way they were meant to fit" ???
"Get the attention that you deserve" ?????

There were other selling points, but those were the ones that stand out in my head. Call me old fashioned, but I was pretty repulsed by the spot. Society has placed such demand on the way a woman should look, and to use this type of verbiage to lure in clients is despicable.

agreed.

EMR is equal opportunity when it comes to booby-size.

Some women due to booby size do have medical the need for breast reduction surgery. I've known a few women who've had it done and they say they're more comfortable and it's made a world of difference.

On the other side of it, I could see breat augmentation for let's say mastectomy patients. But then again, that's purely a matter of personal preference.

+1 ladydemona

thats what i was about to say....

for example the family that lives across from my parents had a 15 yr old with 36DD.....15 yrs old!!!

they were cause ing her back problems and her reason for wanting reduction was so that the boys would look at her face and talk to he not her chest....

she went down to a c but is not back to a large d and is considering it again but happy she did it in the first place

Ask me ill tell you...........anything I wanna hear

You're right most of them complain of severe lower back pain from having boobage that's too big .

I've also had a lot of mastectomy patients put the saline spacers in the chest cavity for future reconstruction after their treatment is done for breast CA.

Did you know up until the last few years there were more reduction surgeries being done than implants?

BTW, I had a cousin that had to have reduction surgery years ago. She was a gymnast and blew up when she hit puberty. She was every teenaged boy’s dream. Cute face, 5’2”, a little over 110, smart and huge boobs. I think I remember something about F cups at age 15. She looked like a Barbie doll. The problem was she was always in pain from the bra straps digging into her shoulders to support her boobs and since she was still growing they were bending her spine. Definitely too big, especially for her frame. Even now she is still large, C or C+. For her the reduction surgery was a god send. Just to show you how times change, my little cuz is now working for the Secretary General of the UN and is currently the world’s foremost expert on Bio-terrorism. Strange…

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

I think they are just giving the phrases in advertising that go through women's minds that want the surgery. I haven't seen too many Playboy Playmates with small chests... general standards of beauty is all it's really talking about.

I have no problems with helping out medically in that part of the body (or any others as well... I'm pro-plastic surgery) , check me in 10 years, I'm sure I'll be getting a 30 yr service done! LOL.

heard the commercial, kinda disturbing since a lot of teenie boppers listen to that station, which is good marketing for the company but every little girls gonna have huge knockers. Hmmm, let me think about this some more...

You talking about Carmella DeCesare? It seemed that being PMOY was not enough for her self esteem. After getting some cash, she went and got some implants.

Women bring this problem onto themselves. You think men are obsessed with breasts, women are even more obsessed with them.

yes, in the 90's gettin implants was a big thing to get into playboy. But that has long changed. that my only point. Now the trend is coming back to natural - beautiful.
