Burger King commercial

The Nissan truck commercial thread reminded me, and I wanted to bring this up:

Has anyone seen the commercial for Burger King where the lumber jack is cutting down this big, thick, lush, and beautiful tree in the forest. When the tree falls, you see The King is standing there with a sandwich. The commercial cuts to the announcer saying, "Meat, on top of meat, on top of meat." lol I laughed my ass off. Could they have any more offended every vegetarian and environmentalist on the planet? lol Funny stuff. It seems that advertising is doing a lot of this slight, intrepretation, back-handed compliment kinda stuff.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

I find it funny that they have launched an entire ad campaign from a prop they found on ebay.

However, I still don't think it's quite as funny as Friendly's calling their free desert with a meal a happy ending sundae.
