Anyone for a group buy on a pit bike??

I missed out on the gb on the crf50 for $700

i wouldn't mind going in on something similar for a little fiddy pit bike. i was thinking maybe if we do it in the winter months, we may get a deal at least close to the one previous....

I'm in, I found out too late about that last group buy too. As long as it's a reputable brand bike, preferably the Honda one, and not some knock-off from China like me

I would be in for a Honda, if it is any kinda deal like the other group buy.....and if a run is required, I know BWA may be interested if he gets same kinda deal at last run...

Heck I may even be interested, I have a trailer... Find out details and lets see....

it beats walking.
if you're at the track for more than 1 day it' nice.
if you are at a larger track it's even nicer. (autobahn, road america, B&S kart track @ road america!!! )
doubles as a starter bike for the young ones.
ever take "the walk" to change a tire at the track?

Oh, and are you the guy whose muffler fell off at Autobahn North?

alright guys, check out these prices from the same place that sold them b4:
http://www.southernhonda.com/new_veh...sc=Motorcycles

that's $733 for a crf50 and $983 for a crf70. i believe thats out the door. if someone with some excellent phone skills can call we may be able to to get a few bucks off of that. during their last sale you could save an extra $100 off of their web pricing if you called.... not sure if that's still on....

either way, that's some pretty good pricing. do you concur?

2005 CRF50's Brand New $683.00
Just got a line that Southern Honda in Chattanooga Tn is selling brand new 2005 CRF50's for $683 with no added fees. The website still says $783 but if you call you can get one for $683. The deal goes till June 1. I have a friend that is a salesman there and he gave me the scoop. Its pitbike time!

I have a track day this weekend and can't make it down there before the weekend or before the sale ends so I won't be going.

I also inquired about a few other things. If someone is going down and is willing to deliver bikes then there are some restrictions on how the shop will handle payment. Whoever picks the bikes up has to pay for all of the bikes at that time. If they use credit card then they have to use their own credit card. There is no way for someone to pay for a bike ahead of time and someone else go down and pick it up. If you are paying in cash then either you will have to get the cash or check to the person picking the bikes up ahead of time, or they will have to purchase the bikes on your behalf and then you pay them later.

the original price was lower because of honda incentives at the time. you might be able to get it for a touch lower than their website but i wouldnt count on it. keep in mind that the website price is already way below msrp and doesnt include tax since we dont live in TN. best deal around!!

One things y'all should check is if the dealership is still limited on how many bikes they can sell to a person. When i went there, i was lucky cause i went with my buddy. Originally honda limited the dealerships to sell only 2 per person. After Kruz pulled some amazing bullshit with the salesman, they upped it to 4 per, but not without hellova trouble.

Is the 70 any bigger (physically) than the 50? If so might be interested. Keep us posted.
