Yeah, but just about anybody who has wanted one has one by now, and they all (all mine do anyway) have 100 invites to give out. They still advertise it as in Beta, probably just to give them an excuse when they have problems with th eservers or whatever.

gmail is googles email system. You get like a gigabite of space. You can use a pop connection, and it's free. It's a service of google. I have invites to give out as well, but I don't know if I have 100. I hardly ever log onto the page to look.

I've given out soo many it's not even funny... and bastards keep givin me more

You can now invite yourself using a cellphone: https://www.google.com/accounts/SmsMailSignup1

Gmail is the best webmail system ever. As a matter of fact, it has replaced any desktop email software i've ever used, cause it's better than all of those too. And they yet to bet down ever. On top of it all, the allowable space keeps goin up all day, i'm up to 2651 MB

Thanks.

I figured it was another version of email with something added in.

the best part is the constantly increasing space...
I was getting about 1.2 Gb when I first started using it right now it is at 2652. On the homepage there is a counter which keeps increasing...
Best email so far

I've been using it since the early days of it, and have a number of different accounts for various purposes. The cool thing is that it cna be accessed form any web browser, so not limited like you would be with Outlook. Also nice to have th alrge space limit, since many desktop applications have space limits that are smaller than what is currently available with Gmail.

Best feature has got to be that you can basically do a google search of your email box, sure beats the hell out of separate folders and all that other crap organizing that you need to do in normal POP clients.

I remember they used to have an invite spooler, I think at isnoop.net, that you could just dump your invites for anybody that needed one. It seems Gmail finally made them stop, but I remember when they had millions of invites in there. That was back before everybody had 100, and you would get like 6 and it took them a few days to replace them.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.
