Mitsubishi Dealer Employee Needed

I need some parts for my EVO and was hoping someone from here worked at a dealer and would be willing to give me their discount on some things.

As you can tell I found a hook up already. Thanks Sage. I might come to you though if I ever need warranty work done. How are you guys on being mod freindly? I have a cat back and a short shifter on the car, but the drive train is making some crazy coast down rumbling noises.

Hey, anytime... I work in parts there. Service isnt all that mod friendly. I have a guy there who is cool about it though. Be careful with tuning. On the EVO 8 out of 10 time it will be more harm then good. Car is not built for that so we are seening many come in with $$big$$ problems. With most mods out there you will loose power and horse. I can explain more if you have questions, pm me if you need something.

Get bent spongy pants.

Sage: I had a Talon a few years ago, I am pretty familiar with the potential of the Evo motor. Thanks on the heads up on the service side of things.

Hey, thats fine. As long as you think so. Word to the wise... Go to Max Madsen in Downers. Talk to the writer Todd, or the tech Jr. You might be suprised. Also, that talon motor doesnt come close to the EVO motor. I wish you luck.

I am not trying to argue with you dude but it is the same damn motor except the head is flipped and it has a better turbo. Thanks for the advise on the Tech and service writer.

It will go straight here with 6k launch........
http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subtrn/6Speed.htm ,of course that will be $6500 later.

All hating aside, who don't you just throw back the stock catback and get it serviced. I don't think the short throw will void any warranties.

Its nothing. An EVO is a big investment. I work with them everyday day. I see what happens with aftermarket parts on those car. A talon, eclipse, honda, whatever you can play with. An EVO cant take it. Mitsubishi built that car to the max. If you put full pipes on it you ( i kid you not) lose horsepower. Thats motor cant handle much more. Im not trying to rag the EVO, its a great lil car. At the same time it one of the fastest in its class. What more do you need. One owner already put over $15,000, yes i said $15,000 dollors into fixing his EVO that had every aftermarket part on it. He had to pay it just so he had a car. Funny thing is, the "mods" were done right. Its a ralley car, not a street racer. A lot of people dont understand that. Anyway, like I said... Its a great car, but its already built to the max. Just trying to help.
