Jobs you wish you had.

What are soem of the jobs that you wish you got into? Or what is the "perfect" job. One that you can make alot of money and have alot of time to ride.......

Might look into being a pornstar, or a pimp

NOT SAFE FOR WORK!!!

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

I would love to work with the baby animals at the zoo...A zoologist. On animal planet they had these guys who worked at Tiger Island and they showed them working with the tigers since they were babies, and everyday they would walk them and play with them... even when the tigers were full grown. The tigers basically looked at them as their parentsIt was so awesome! I absolutely love animals. I don't think I could sit around and do nothing, I think eventually I would get very bored. I'm definitely going to go to school and start getting into the animal scene once I don't have a single income, and I can afford to work PT and go to school......Animals fascinate me!

I wish I'd have had an early intro into motorcycling, cause I'd love to race for a living.

Better question to ask is how much $$$ can you make disappear racing motorcycles.

How you found us: I google myself regularly

My career ambitions have changed a lot, and I have always pursued anything and everything of interest...until which point I realize it's not right for me. My big thing for a while was I wanted to be a chef, and I worked as a cook for many years....until I realized I couldn't be on my feet all day, and the hours were not enjoyable to me. They were cool when I was 19 but as I got older...ugh.

I know this sounds cheesy, but my real dream job was any job where people really respected me as having unique and insightful contributions, ans was a real asset to the company. If I could have my coworkers, superiors, and the competition saying "you know who does a great job at that is Alison...." then I would be happy.

They make next to nothing, unless they have a
PhD; at which point, you could have been an MD with some kick-ass aquariums at home (obviously w/ sharks; only sharks) and a planned vacation (tickets in hand) to Australia, to swim w/ more sharks (and a Benzo to get you to the airport).

Now, you can make me eat my own hand, but please let me eat my left hand. You see, my right hand is my pimp hand and I'll be using that to pimp slap you all night long. Keep the pimp hand strong

1. FIghter pilot (like my grandpa who flew P38's in WWII)

3. Professional race car driver which I did for 2 yrs. Made approx 150K from 87-89 doing it (salary + winnings).

Well i knocked out 3 of my dream jobs. (kinda)

1. Special Forces.....(Always wanted to be since i was little.)
2. Wanted to see the world travelling.......(Well i saw more than i care too!(see#1)
3. Cop......(Merced County Sheriff's in California) Kinda sucked. Hated the long stretches of open road and working weekends & holidays. No "me" time
4. Work for the Govt. .... (capacities will go unstated)

My next dream job as i am in limbo (in dream jobs) i guess would be a Director of Operations for a large corp. This way i can still have time for family and friends and still make a nice big buck.

All of this I know. I was in line to study at Florida when I was younger. I instead chose a role that would not make me work on grants, etc, for salary......and am now making the SAME amount that I would be had I been a marine biologist.
I dont need money to be happy.

Yes i hear all the time money does not make you happy. I say that is not true. Truthfully here..... I want to make a lot of money to be happy. How would it make me happy you ask? All the toys you want you can have. A nice big spread with a house YOU want, Feel like taking a 3 week vacation in Australia on a whim? No sweat! Want to jump on the boat with 20 friends? No problem! Damn the traffic looks bad today! C'Mon kids I think we will take the helicopter to the dells this weekend.

Yes i am exxagerating profusely but i cant wait for 2 more years when my wife goes back to work full time so we have that extra money to put into savings and vacations. I dont consider us well off by no means because we are pay check to paycheck just like most people. Thinking ahead.....College is gonna KILL us!!!
