Where to go for car tires?

Hi:

Winter is coming and I need new rubber for my wife's MDX and my Q45. Does anyone know of any deals out there?

BTW, cudos to Michelin on tires for my wife's MDX. We got 80,000 miles on the stock rubber. My Q burned through the stock rubber at 50k, which probably isn't too bad for V rated tires.

Oh for you high perfromance auto guys, is there any reason to change from my stock rubber? The Q wears Michelin Pilot mxm4.

Discount Tire IMO is by far the best place to buy tires. They have an awesome warranty on their tires and they have awesome customer service, and they bet every other tire dealership that I've checked with.

Ditto! This is who I have gone thru for anything to do with tires.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Discount Tire does a pretty good job, but Tire Rack is usually cheaper.

WELEPRO on here is a manager for the Oswego location of discount tires. He's one of my best friends and gives friends, and friends of friends great deals on tires. Call 630-906-7131 and ask for erik, tell him you are from CLSB and Kevin says hi. Hooked up for sure!!!

(copied and pasted from other thread) Definitely worth the call, he knows everything there is to know about car tires and what is best for you/your car, plus he'll give you a better than great deal.

Kevin

Ask me how to get a free kick in the teeth!

Thanks Kevin, but Oswego... Yeesh. I'll finish my initial research and give him a call. For the 2 cars it might be worth the drive.
Thus far, Discount Tire Co. has the lowest internet pricing.

+10000

DISCOUNT TIRE

make sure you bring in a printout of the prices you find online. sometimes they don't match up-- but the store will always honor the internet price.
