WSB - Vermulin - WTF ?????

Just got done watching Race 2 of the WSB from France and Chris Vermulin was driftin the Ten Carte bike all over the fuggin place and I wanna know how - Did anyone catch this race? How in the fuk does he pull off that vitrual "reverse back in" when sliding it into that right hander? It was the most bizzare thing I have ever seen.

Buehller? Buehller? Anyone?

Which race? 1 or 2? I saw race one yesterday, kept it cause it was so damn good. I need to watch race 2, start looked like a clusterfukc.

the last couple laps of the first race were great.

As for him backing it in, takes balls the size of grapefruits and quite a bit of rear brake.

I saw it. It was just the head on shot that made it look really weird. Watch the 2002 500GP hightlight video... Gary McCoy does the same shit. It would look quite different if you saw it from the side.

It was in Race 2, before his motor quit - I was wondering if it was the position of the camera as well?? McCoy is the master of backing it in !!!! - The camera shot just made it look so wild like he was sliding sideways, the wrong way going into the turn, did not look like a typical "back in"

As for Mccoy:

What Vermuelen did was under braking while the bike was still straight up and down. Looks to me like the rear end got real light under hard braking and he was just protecting the inside line so Lanzi wouldn't stick it in there. So from the camera angle it looks like he's gliding over sideways but in actuality he was probably just braking real hard while moving to the inside to protect the line. Either way it did look fucking amazing.

Project Gotham Motorcycle Racing. It's insane how they are control sliding or drifting sportbikes.
