Most time Playing Video Game.

What is the most time you guys have spent playing a video game, or the most money spent. Arcade and home are acceptable.

For me the most money goes to Killer Instinct. I went to the arcade and played this game religiously at the arcade every week. Never playing anything else. I have spent about 2k on this game since its release. I still can remember and kick but on the game today, and I haven't played it in over a year. One day I will buy the arcade console off of Ebay.

The other game, which I have stated before I played a lot of was Counterstrike. This is actually how I got my screen name. I did marathons in college, where I would not go to class for days, playing only C-strike, taking breaks to eat, a few hours for sleep, and to crap. This almost got me kicked out of school. My ratio one day was like 56 and 4. I flashed a screen shot, have to dig through my old archieves to find it. So chime in fellas, what has taken your attention away from riding?

I used to be really into games about 4 years ago, but I don't play too often now. I've purchased one game in the last 8 months.

I did, however, spend an hour this morning playing Battlefronts on the PC before I went to work.

I've had to tone it down myself, when I get into something, I stay with it. Now, it is riding, which has taken my gaming and fishing away.

Money-wise, I never really spent that much on arcades as a kid. Only time I seriously play an arcade game is at Dave and Buster's/Gameworks. If it's Gameworks and I like the game I'll play it straight through (hell, unlimited play is $20 for two hours).

Home-wise, it depends. I know this is shocking, but I've got a mind boggling collection of video games and systems (PS2 is only "current" system). With more classic collections coming out, I don't really use the Atari, NES, SNES anymore (just got my Atari back from a buddy after 5 years). Oh, back on topic..probably 3 or 4 hours if it's wintertime and I don't really have much else to do. Back in the junior high years I'd spend hours and hours on Tecmo Super Bowl, Final Fantasy (still pissed my old roomate deleted my game off there).

I waste too much time on Command & Conquer - Generals. Maybe 3-4 hours a day. That could be time better spent practicing some self-lovin!

Straight time, I have played warcraft and Age of Empires for 6-8 hours at a time back in the day... as far as money spent, I dropped a small fortune at the arcades playing Street Fighter II when I was real young. Playing a lot of CS:S lately.

I remeber when grand theft auto 3 came out. I got it for christmas and played for almost 3 days straight.

It got to the point that I would go out for smoke breaks in my garage and I would look at the cars in the street and think about which one to steal.

Back in a day I use to play Diablo II. I almost got divorce. I played that game on the weekends 12-14 hrs a day, and 5 to 6 hrs daily. Now I just can’t look at it.
Games are fun but you can get addicted like me. If I get a new game (far cry, call of duty, rainbow six, WOW, guild wars and any other good ones) I will play till I can’t see on my eyes. (sick I know), resume next day and will play until is finished. Spend a tons of money on those games, only PC , (xbox and Ps2 sucks, maybe xbox 360 will be different). Will see. Ok got to go, time to shoot couple of terrorists on Rainbow 6.

Between 1999 and 2003 I spent over 8500 hours playing Everquest. At one point I spent 3 days, sleeping 4-6 hours per night, of non-stop gaming.

An 8 hour session playing World of Warcraft on a weekend is common.

yeah... I'm a 30 year old dork. I do have to say, the people I play online with are the same people I get together with at least twice a week for poker/ BBQ's and just hanging out.

I should also point out my join date was 1 month after buying my first bike, and 3 months after quitting everquest.

Unreal Tournament, and Marathon, and Carmageddon. I used to play something 3-4 hours every night.

Then I started online Hold-Em, again, played 3-4 hours every night with some nights 6-8 hours.

Haven't played anything in months, but hey, the bike will be getting less and less attention as winter approaches... and games will come back.

At the moment, I play pool and/hold'em at home usually a couple of times a week with friends. We play from 5 or 6 until 1 or 2 all the time. But hey, that ain't video...

Throwing darts at my local bar I definitely put more money in the machine than the machine is worth ($3k). Nearly 2 years of playing at least 4 days a week.

I play on a pool league on monday nights, used to play mon, tues, thurs.

In high school it was Super Mario Cart, we used to have battle mode tournaments, 4-6 hours at a time.

The most recent was GTA 3, which my brother and I would play for whole weekends, stopping only to fetch beer, bodily functions, short naps.

I have pretty much quit gaming now though, I don't have a computer or game console in the house.

KI and MK3 got too complicated for an old guy like me. Street fighter 2 and MK2 was just right.

Used to play WAY too much CS, all the way from version 1.2-1.6 and CS:Source. Took a vacation for a month in May and it said my key was banned for cheating (while I was gone...wtf) and I haven't touched it since. Generally ran insane K2D ratios too, i still miss that game sometimes..

Around August I got GTA III and played it for a little bit, but I soon became interested in other stuff. I don't think anything will come close to that big of a distraction in my life again.

America's Army takes up a majority of my time. Prolly 1 to 2 hours a day, and I'm off work on weds, so yesterday I played pretty much all day, just taking smoke and clsb breaks.

GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice city were both 3 days straight, call off work type addictions..

GT3 and GT4 were 5 days straight, call off work type addictions..

My name is Chris, and I'm a video game - a - holic..
