XBOX 360....who is buying one?

I think they launch in December...I may have to get one for Christmas.

Some specs to share for those picking up a new TV set...

Everything's in 720p, as well as 480p for those who don't have an HDTV set. And 1080i will be done with an onboard analog video scaler.

Whoever buys it can come and play on my 62" HDTV. I should be healed by then. [cough] Robert [cough]

New PS here, microsoft has made enough money off of me. Although my company does supply all the bandwidth for the online gaming portion so maybe I should get one

I say no but I probably can't resist owning one. The problem is there is not supposed to be any huge advances in games for XBox until Halo 3(April 06) comes out. They timed that nicely to coincide with the launch of PS3...

PS3 is supposed to blow all away!!!!!!!

Doubt it. It may be good, but they are still up against Microsoft. Luckily, Playstation has some killer titles, like Metal Gear Solid, Grand Turismo, etc.

But XBox has still established Halo, and many others. We'll see, I'm definately going to wait until some killer games come out for both, then make a decision.

From what I heard the PS3 is initially going to be even harder to develop for than the PS2 was. It took developers over a year to finally reach the potential of the PS2 ... I really don't feel like waiting. I'm going with the 360 to start.

Also, the guy that runs Team Ninja (Tecmo) always decides to choose the best system available to develop on. He chose the Xbox last time, and he went with the 360 this time ... and he produces quality games. Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive series ... it's good stuff.

Go to www.gametrailers.com and check out Gears of War or ESPN NBA 2k6 ... it's incredible.

I will own both that is for sure... Now the issue is getting a 360 when they come out. I want the deluxe version which comes with the hard drive and wireless remotes..

All of the preorders are sold out unless you buy some bundle with 11 games you may or may not want for $1,199........... Any ideas?????

CHI1000RR -- Just go to Target or Best Buy or Wal-Mart the day it comes out, they don't do pre-orders and should have a good amount of systems.

One of the things I like about the PS3 is that it will come with a BluRay drive and have 1080p output.

I'm pretty sue there will be plenty of systems available. Plus 1 on the 1080p....Dont forget the Dual HDMI output. PS3 will rule all gaming systems. I will buy another plasma tv to enjoy the true features of the PS3.

Issue with the Bluray... Have the movie studios agreed on a standard for HD DVD's yet? Otherwise I'm sure Sony will release their movies on HD but I wonder what the movie industry will do?

I was going to buy one.....but then I decided to pre-order 7! I'm planning on hitting e-bay. Microsoft already announced they are falling short on production. They were supposed to have 2 Million available for launch, now they are only expecting to have 1.5M.

These things are already selling on e-bay for $300 over sticker price.

I'll be buying a PS3 too, but I'm a bigger xbox fan.
