When it rains it pours, God Damn Thieves!

So I crash my bike last week at 15MPH in rush hour traffic, breaking my clavicle. Oh joy. Last night some degenerate broke into my garage, stole most of my tools, broke into my car parked in the garage, stealing my HU, MP3 CD Changer, Garmin GPS and some other odds and ends.

I feel like Earl on the show My Name is Earl. I really need some good karma.

Bastard! Choke on some ranch!

I'm going to readup on my insurance policy and see what it covers. I'm more pissed the thief did a piss poor job stealing my HU. They tore up my dash pretty badly.

Car insurance should cover the dash, HO insurance may cover the rest, depending on your coverage.

Sorry to hear that man, good luck.

Thank God for insurance. Hopefully they won't screw me over too much.

Miguel, my rottweiler would do more damage than good. He has popped a few fullly inflated basketballs before. By morning, there would be nothing left of the thief or my car.

He is certain he locked all the doors. This time I believe him as I sent him out on an errand before he left for work at 3pm. When he returned all doors were still locked. I think they pry'd open the garage's swinging door.

Time to get a better door and security cameras.

Chills not sure who I pissed off in my past life but in this life, I pissed off my Dad's entire village in Cambodia. Basically I told them they were all idiots who rely too much on God for fortune. That and I refuse to marry any of the girls from the village. But that's another story.

On the bright side, my clavicle doesn't really bother me much anymore. I am even typing with two hands again. Suprisingly my elbow and shoulder muscles are what is bothering me. Keeping it in a sling for 8 days straight really stiffens them up.

This might be a good time to hit some of that Tylenol with codeine the doctors gave me. Have not touched it yet.

Yeah... just in summer, I had some punk kids break into my apartment and steal my PS2, 2 laptops, and a PDA. They caught them though, but the police dept still hasn't returned my stuff to me yet.

Not 2 days later, another fucker sliced open the top of my convertible and was inside of it, but didn't steal anything since a maintenance guy came and drove him away. Police say they were likely unrelated incidents since there was nothing tying my car to my apartment unit, but they never caught the car break-in guy.

Let us know how it works out with your insurance company. I'd like to know what company it is and how they handle that claim. It's very common that people get screwed on that kind of equipment.

And good karma is sure to come your way if you just make the list and knock one off a week!

I have Statefarm insurance. Got a claim number but the agent set it up with the wrong department. Since my stereo was stolen I have to talk to that department. Waiting for the correct department to call me back.

My HU and CD changer is the least of my worries though. Damn thieves tore up my leather dash and broke the mount points in the process of stealing the stuff. The dash is one large unit so I doubt it will be cheap to replace. I am more worried they screw me and only give me enough money to patch it up.

Well State Farm called me back. They will definitely fix the dash, replace my Alpine HU and Alpine CD changer. They may even cover my GPS that was stolen.
