My sympathies. I'm thankful that I'm not that important.

"For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard..."

The first turn is the worst turn, between the left ear and the right one.

I'll say you are. Timestamp on the post is 9:39 AM.

Jeezus, Tony, it's time you convinced these people of the merits of an hours-of-service restriction. One of our guys managed that by pulling a 24-hour shift, and then taking out 2 or 3 mailboxes on his way home--or, more accurately, on his way into a drainage ditch. Presto, 16-hour shift limits for all.

I wouldn't suggest destroying mailboxes as a first resort, though. Maybe you can convince them that overtime isn't productive past a certain point?

lemme see... went to Vancouver for three days of meetings, flew to Dallas for a meeting, flew home, drove home, packed trailer for RoadAtlanta, got up after 3AM this morning... drove to Deals Gap, unpacked the trailer and two bikes and rode 60 miles on Route 129 and Tail of the Dragon with AdrenalinJunkie in 33 degree weather. Repacked the trailer, drove to hotel near RoadAtlanta... close to 900 miles of driving due to the Tail detour... and just walked into the hotel room. 11:21 here, haven't had dinner yet, but am gonna get up at 5:30, and get ready and then get out to the track in the AM... for two fun filled days at RoadAtlanta.

Yep, tired, I can feel for ya. After two days at RA, we are going back to ride Tail of the Dragon (DealsGap) again, then drive back home to the wonderful weather.

But the good news is, had a BLAST today, and will for the next three days. Beats working any day!

Wikipedia - Adrenaline Junkie - An adrenaline junkie is somebody who feels as if they are addicted to adrenaline. Adrenaline junkies may enjoy competing in extreme sports like skydiving, surfing, motorcycle racing, or anything else that gets their heart rate up. This sort of addiction is brought on by enjoying the (adrenaline) "rush" gained from these activities.

Tell me about it! I cant count how many times I have woken up in the wrong lane after jobs like these. It's absolutly not safe, but If I'm not out working the work isnt getting done. I dont have the luxury of someone to cover for me or even come in and relieve me. But I guess thats why they pay us the big bucks.
