Attention all Black Friday shoppers

Not sure why it's called black Friday, but here's some deals I came across...I see some pc's with monitor as low as $150, not too bad.

Its called Black Friday.. cause the revenue from that day can put a company back in the black.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I need to get a bigger HDD as well...
where do you find out how much the rebate is ?
I went on compusa's site but didn't notice anything under the hdd search
I'd hate to do one of those is it 329.99 with an instant rebate of 1.00 and a mail in rebate of 299.00

Bah, dealing with the bigass shopping crowd isn't even worth it. I'm just going to try to get some work done that day instead to earn money instead of trying to save money by fighting in line to have a chance to get stuff cheaply.

You won't catch me at any store on that day. My goal was to be 100% done Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving, and I acheived it. I finished yesterday.

It's called Black Friday because its the day that we women are forced to admit that we don't like shopping THAT much.

Seriously... traffic to get there, finding a parkin spot, finding what your looking for in the right size/color, wainting in line to pay, still waiting to pay, then walking about a mile to get to your car ( in the freezing cold ), then sittin in more traffic on the way home.
But that is the best time for all the deals, i think i can handle one day of it... As long as i get to shop it's all good!

Bikes can be replaced...people can't...ride safe!!

I never go out on that weekend. We took my sister in law to Best Buy to use the gift card I got her that weekend. this was in Rochester, MN, where that best buy is probalby the ONLY place to buy ANY electronics/video games, etc within 60 miles. Line went from the door, all the way back to the home theater section, around the entire store, to get to the front. It was a good hour and half wait.

Since I fly to visit the family at Christmas, I can't really shop until I get back there. So almost all of mine is last minute, although I do get the gift cards done before hand.
