MEN, lets talk steak!

i am fucken hungry right now, and well the wife is working late tonight (she went in late, part timer) and well she is going to dinner afterwards with the girlfriends,

here is my question.(and i am a big meat eater)

i got 2 almost 2 pound each T-bone steaks getting ready to make in the broiler, and i think i can eat them BOTH!

i can usually pack away a FULL slab of ribs, and i am not talking about the kind at mindys or carsons, for those i can about eat a full and 3/4 slabs worth.

is there such a thing for a man, as eating to much red meat?
i usually eat red meat 4 times a week.
i know about colon cancer and how by the time we are old fucken men there is a few pounds of meat in our shitters that hansnt gone no where.

BUT DOES ANYONE CARE?
not me

what about you guys?

A-1 on a prime cut of meat is sacrilege. If there isn't enough juice in the steak buy a better cut.

Sorry, just my personal opinion. I have a George Foreman grill in my locker at work. I'm definitely a meat eater. Just finished 2 pork chops with mushrooms sauteed in butter and a little red pepper to liven things up.

My wife thinks we're a bunch of Top Gun wannabes with our call signs, so for future reference, I'm Roger

Meat

I'm a big meat lover myself. Like Blubusa said it's a sin to put anything on a steak. If you have to, then it's not a good cut. I only use A1 on the meat my wife buys from the grocery store.

I found the best place to get meat is at the Paulina Meat Market in the city. They're not cheap, but it's the best meat money can buy. They have everything. I'm partial to their pork chops and strip steaks. They will even cut the meat as thick as you want it.

If I'm going out to eat and I'm really hungry, I'll go to Bob Chins in Wheeling. I know they are a seafood house, but they have this 32 ounce porterhouse you could cut with a fork. It is bar none, the best steak I've ever had. I'm in sales and have eaten at all the best steakhouses in the city and out of state, and nothing is as good.

Check it out sometime.

Mike

OHhhh HELL YEAH! Chins rocks! The steak is awesome but with all the yummy crab legs on the menu the decisions are alway hard.

HELL NO... you can't eat too much red meat. Besides, they'll have a cure for cancer by the time we're old men. It will be like getting a flu shot or something. Hell... they're already pretty good at curing it now.

Besides, I plan to highside at 150mph into a wall at Daytona on my 69th B-day with an antique RC-51 that was one of Hayden's back-up bike.

Fuck yes... at all the steak you can fit in that gut.

These guys are right. a dash of pepper and salt to taste ot bring out the flavor.... but that's it. If it's a cheap steak, yes I dip the meat in some A1 or BBQ sauce... or make Fajitas or Stromboli out of it.

BTW who thinks Flank Steak kicks ass. I just love one that's been marinated just right... and the outside cooks up perfect i nthe broiler.

Well, that's if you don't mind taking chemicals mixed in a cocktail that tries not to kill you for a couple of years and losing your hair.

But then I guess losing your hair would make Ken look any different now that he's not sporting that fancy do!

Some of us are a little too old to expect miracles in this lifetime!

Mmmmmmmmm steak

Steak is good (mouth is watering right now)... my .02...

Personally I don't think anything can beat preparing a whole beef tenderloin. You usually have to pay around $15-16 a pound for it but sometimes I can find it on sale for under $10. Whip up a little roasted garlic/(insert your choice of spices here) paste... slather the thing in it... throw it on a broiler pan... cook for 45-60 minutes (like it pretty medium rare) and you've got yourself a TASTY treat that'll feed you plus 4-5 of your friends (depending on how hungry ya are)

Give it to me bloody I love meat. Maybe I'll cook up some Venison when I get home. You didn't think I fed that all to you did ya Ken???

Unfortunately stomach problems stop me from eating as much meat as I want. If I could I'd eat it 3 meals a day. I love it. MMMMMMMM I still got a Venison Roast at home...maybe dinner
