Car Starter Install

Anyone know of a good/cheap place to get this done? I'm in the Plainfield area. Trying to get one installed for my dad for xmas.

you mean a remote start for the car? check any local car stereo shop, most will probably be having a special on it for the cold that is surely comming

Yea i was looking into that too... i really want one now for the winter. I'll check online... but i live in Lake Zurich / Barrington area. My cousin lives around you though, and got one.. i'll ask where they had it done and let you know.

Bikes can be replaced...people can't...ride safe!!

so far the cheapest i found is on elston in chicago and they want $140 for it installed....

Place on Essington (Car Audio Shop ) had a banner outside in the median in the strip mall parking lot. About halfway between Caton Farm and Jefferson.
Same plaza as Pet store and Mexican resturant, dont know name off hand will look tonite and post.......

What kind are you getting, my cousin said he got his and just installed it himself.. just took a couple hours.... I dont know which kind you want, or how much your looking to spend? But if you are just looking for something to just push a button and the car starts just go to Targer or something... unless you want like the high-tech system... then i would guess online is your best bet... Sorry couldnt be more of help.

oh ok yeah i dont know i want to get something that will last a bit... We'll see i found a guy through a friend who installs them proffesionaly on new cars at a dealership and he said the whole system installed $200 and he will come and do it in my garage, leaning towards that

I got a guy in Glendale Heights who will do them out of his house. He installs them for various different shops in the area. He did mine in about an hour and a half and charged me $200 for a really nice adiovox starter. I have had it for year with no problems. Real good to deal with and awesome starter. It has a pretty long distance. Lemme know if you want his number. I got it in my car somewhere.

Oh and if someone wants to buy one I got one still in the box for $60. I payed $85 for it and it's still in the box. The brand is bulldog.
