Limewire? music sharing?

Anyone using LimeWire (free version)? I was using WinMX to download music but the site was recently taken down....I was thinking about LW?? Any experience with this or any other suggestions???

Thanks,

Cool i have used it many times before

i am not currently using it but have alot in the past. just make sure you pay attension to what level you are sharing at to avoid viruses. their is a option not to share, i suggest using it. like any other filesharing, always check the entire track out before saving it. sometimes the end is cut off. I have downloaded alot of clean stuff from there but as they say, you get what you pay for. when its free you do take a risk.

you don't know when, you don't know where, but you will know why.

i either use Acquisition (which is a mac P2P client)

and/or

torrents (pm if you want more info). Works great, and there are plenty of torrent directory sites.

i too have used limewire but like everything else...BE CAREFUL!

I would say 25% of everything downloaded is loaded with Trojans. Make sure your anti-virus is up to date!

Thanks for the replys Fellas. I need to update my anti-virus def's, then I will decide which software to load. Are they both easy to use?

Thanks again,
Al

I use torrents most of the time, but it's hard to find individual songs, it usually full CDs.

For individual songs, I use Bearshare. I've never downloaded a file that was bad and it goes quick.

Don't put your dirty laundry in public

I use this hacker guy named Tony, a.k.a. HDTony. He's one of the greatest hackers I know. I'm hoping he finishes the assignment he has of breaking into the credit bureaus and fixing my credit.

As far as songs, I just go buy them. Downloading that stuff and not paying is just bogus and I don't support it.

I'm so full of it sometimes. Hey, I use bittorrent programs for whatever I'm looking for. It's rare though because I have just about all I want anyways. Good look and look out for the RATT's I mean, R IA A.
