XBox 360 Glitches

Ok, I figured something like this would happen. It's so new that it couldn't be avoided. Nothing huge but good to know for those that have it and/or want it.
Again, I'm glad I'm a pc gamer.

On one xbox forum i'm seeing a 18% fail rate....I feel bad for all the ebay buyers that didn't have a receipt.

Mine is fine so far... For an additional $40, I got a two year warranty. It only comes with 90 days. I will say the thing runs hot!!!!!!!

Remember all the PS2 disc read errors. I had to send mine in to have it replaced.

Still glad I stick to PC mainly. Does the 360 play the old XBox games too?

I don't feel bad for anyone that had to go spend $1000+ on and damn video game console.

I'll pick up the 360 when it's cheap and easy to find. The games will still be there and they will still be just as good.....

+1

They just get a little more practice on those FPS before you. Give it a week or two, and I'll be back to my old killing self.

They are going for less now... If I knew I could get $1,000 for it,... I may have sold it.

Only the Deluxe plays old Xbox games, I heard it only plays some, the only one I have used is Halo 2

Yes, the deluxe people have been misunderstanding. You're right it only plays some of the old games. The perks to the system is you can download music and video from the net and some other crap. Sounds like a pc to me.

This system is too new and because it's so new I wouldn't have bought it. That goes for a car, motorcycle, whatever. You never buy the first year something comes out, unless you have to.

Not all 360's have glitches but to me it shouldn't have them. They put over 2 billion dollars into marketing.

And did you guys know that Microsoft loses money every time they sell 1 unit?! It was connected to the same link but it was video footage of it. Basically they expect to make it up on the back end. Incredible.

To sum it up - if people could wait 1 more month, anybody by then could have one at the regular price.

There were a ton of them on ebay that sold for $1000 and up in the first couple of days.

I'm going to wait until the 2nd version of the system is out, and they actually have some games I want to play. There are only 2 games I'm interested in, and one of them is the one that freezes all the time.

They were also losing money on the original Xbox, and Sony on the PS2 (I think on the original PS as well). I think the 18% failure rate that is being mentioned on the net is a bunch of BS. There are so many Mac/Linux geeks out there with a hard-on for Microsoft that this rumor would have flown even if there wasn't a single fauilty unit sold.

I sold 1 premium bundle and 2 core units on ebay and mand $500 profit. Not too bad for one days work. Now I have to wait for them to come in stock again so I can buy one for myself.

If you are still looking to buy one, wait for the costco or sams club bundle to come back...it's a bad ass bundle.
