Hey Verizon guys.....

Just an FYI incase you haven't heard yet, but Verizon is coming out with a Razr phone. People are expecting it to start selling online this week and in scores Dec. 12th. It's about time Verizon gets a decent phone. i'm picking one up!

I'm due for a phone update too. The LG I have now is a real POS. The last LG I had was a real POS as were the 2 Nokias I had before that. The only good phone I ever had from Verizon was one of the old Nokias I had like 6 years ago. I haven't had a phone that works good in my house since then, it really sucks to have to run outside every time I get a phone call .

That's cool i have an LG and it's been great and I had it almost 2 yrs. I might just keep it until it dies, but I think that Razr phone is pretty cool.

I have heard from a couple Razr owners that they break very easily.

My name is JB, people call me JB

that's alright...verizon is pretty good about offering replacements on their products when they break. I've on my 9th V710.

thepro8,

Verizon has a replacement policy as well. When you have had a problem with the same phone for at least 3 replacements, you have the option to ask for a DIFFERENT phone. They try to make it about the same price. We just got two E815s to replace two v710s that have been replaced three times.

Again, no cost, so they take great care of ya. I have dropped my phones so many times it is ridiculous.

Brian

The razrs front displays are pretty easily cracked, mine was dropped from my sweatshirt pocket on to my seat and cracked, they do offer excellent reception and they do work really well. I have an LG 6100 and love it, best phone that I have ever had, Verizon just makes crappy phones.

I have a Samsung (don't know the model) from Verizon and it has been awesome. It's beat to fuck and the screen has a little moisture behind it but it keeps on working. I've dropped it from a 10 ft. ladder, been swimming with it in my pocket, fell out of my pocket while riding my MTB, etc, etc...still works well.

Very good point. Verizon does a great job - as long as you pay for the total coverage package every month. Hey, it's worth it. All cell phones go through Hell.

there service is great, but there phone do lack a new technology feel. This is a nice step forward along with some of the nokias they are starting to support.

How often can you get Verizon phones updated? I don't feel like paying up serious cash when I've got a phone already through them. I've got an LG????, been through hell and I've had it two years. They usually only offer the new phones for discounted prices to new customers..which doesn't do me ANY good.

If you have had the phone for two years chances are your contract is up and renewing it basicly makes you a new customer. The reason the phones are cheaper is because you have to sign up for a multi-year contract.
