Whats everyones favorite cold remedy

As I am sitting here typing this absolutly miserable with a bad head cold, I am wondering what everyone else has found to get rid of these things quicker. I just got back from the chinese place with a huge thing of chicken soup and a contaier of rice, that was most excellent. I took a bit too much nyquil last night and woke up a bit stoned this morning.

(learned in college - hasn't failed me yet)

When I feel a cold coming on, I clear my calendar, and aquire the following:

Pre Shark Jumping Bill Murray movies.
Jack Daniels.

Grab a seat on the couch. Put in movies, and begin drinking straight from the bottle.

Rinse and repeat until the sweet release of whiskey induced sleep overcomes you (hopefully after Caddyshack, During Stripes, and just before Ghostbusters.)

When you wake up in your own vomit many hours later - the splitting headache will have taken the place of the virus you killed the night before with sweet sweet alcohol.

Thank me days later when you can bear the sight of solid food.

Talking Coughing, achy, stuffy head, fever so you can rest......Bitch!

Bro the proven medical fact is sleep is the best drug. Take something that will knock you out (Nyquil maybe), get off the pc and sleep. A cold can be rid of in 1-2 days.

If that doesn't work, then rub one out like previously stated.

I have to give a +1 to the sleep advice. I was feeling a bit ill last week. I was so busy all week that I didn't sleep much at all. I took a day off on Monday and slept all day. Now I'm all better.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

They always told me it was crack that killed. I feel misled.

Tony, I think sloroll is asking you on a date

Listerine works (or Salt water with lime) Something that will kill whatever is on your throat.

Advil cold and sinus takes care of the symptoms quite nicely too.

I've found that the best remedy for a cold or any illness for that matter is...

.

18 year old sluts!

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Echinacea. Assists in boosting the immune system. When I take it right, colds usually gone within 24hrs.

There is of course "Oscillococcinum" (pronounced o-sill-o-cox-see-num). It's a homeopathic remedy...take it the night you're getting or have a cold and it will be gone when you wake.
