Pawn Shops?

Anyone know the names of any decent pawn shops in Northern IL? I'd rather not go into an area that I fear for my life by the way

I used to be a partner in two different firms in Florida (Value Pawn, Cash America) big chains in the South , since coming up here I have not found any chains or even any really good mom & pop shops.....

At least in the burbs, and I have heard that the city ones dont have really any good stuff.... yes I too would be ionterested if any one knows of any good ones around......

If not definatley a good business to start up. 20 to 25 % on the dollar depending on state law here.... get a nice self standing shop or one in a strip mall with lots of back stock space, small store front for retail, and loan, make money on loans and monthly payments, want consumer to come back and make that miniumum payment, you dont want them to loose the stuff...

Great game can be really fun, in the right market.....

2 that I know of. One is north end of Evanston on Greenbay Rd, though it might be the next town up where it's located...South of Lake St on Greenbay.

Another is on Belmont in the city right near the L station...red line I believe.

There's got to be at least 5 of them in the Round Lake area. A buddy checked a few out and couldn't really find what he was looking for (books and videogames).
