Wife in the hospital

Last night at 7 I took my wife to the ER because she was very dehydrated. After she got a bag of fluid she was still not good, and hey think it's a virus, but not 100% sure. She can't keep anything down and hasn't since 2 yesterday. I came home for a few mins to get something to eat because I haven't eated since 11 yesterday and I'm going back. I am worried sick and I hated leaving, but I was ready to pass out and she at lease felt better when I left.
Please send a prayer out, I feel like crap for leaving her and coming home for a few mins.

She's in good hands in the ER. Keep your strength up. If you don't it will only complicate things. She will need you healthy come time to come home.

Thanks guys.
I came home again to sleep for a few hours when they took her out of ER and into a real room. Since she was under contol (somewhat) I can home to sleep for a few hours and I'll be going back. I'm just happy she got a real room because that bed in ER suck a lot and I new she wasn't comforable at all. It was like sleeping on a gym mat we had in 8th grade. The fact she's in a real room helped her a lot because it was loud in the ER also, and she finally got some rest. Thanks again guys!

Glad she's improving.

On that note I'd like to suggest that everyone thinks again about getting that flu shot. Its such a small thing to do and if you've ever had the flu you know how much hell that can be.

We are giving them out for free at my work and Walgreens and WalMart are charging $20 so its not that big of a deal. If you have to see your DR in the next few weeks anyway, just call them and schedule the shot.

Seems like a lot of people always get sick after the whole family gets together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Its easy to understand given that there are families coming together from all over the country with kids and grandparents so all that mixing up and airplane riding usually means someone is going to spread something.

I'm back for a few hours because I want her to rest up, and she's only 10 mins away so I'll visit her later. I want her to get as much rest as possible because I know last night she didn't sleep good. I told her what everyone has been saying and it put a smile on her face. I don't think she's coming home tonight , but she is doing better. Her color looks a lot better, but she still has pain.
