I want Diecast models for x-mas?

can anyone pls. tell me where i can buy some diecast Motorcycle models locally? i know they used to sell some of them at Chicago Cycle (anyone know if they still do?), but are there any other places i can go to with more selections and in-stock items? looking for 1:6 and 1:12 scale for x-mas gifts. any suggestions on which ones are better (Maisto,Minichamps,Newray, ect.) never seen any of the Minichamps in person so i have no idea on its price and quality. BTW, im in Niles. Thanks in advance!

There's a place on Ogden that I'd pass on my way to my friend's place in Brookfield.

Just looked it up on yellowpages.com

A World of Die Cast
8814 Ogden Ave
Brookfield, IL 60513
708-387-1490

They have like 3 phone numbers listed - this is only one of them.

It looks like a cool place, but I've never had a chance to stop in there so I can't comment about selection or prices. But it looks like they have a LOT judging by what I've seen in the window.

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

No place local to get the sizes you are looking for. MCC has some minichamps 1:12 Wal mart etc. only carry the 1:18 scale.

Hit Ebay ... I bought all of mine there and overseas, plus you will pay a lot less. I think the ones over at MCC in Villa Park are all $75 or more.

Good luck!

I found a 998 Ducati model. It's 1:6 and sort of a model kit (the type you build). But the thing is freakin big, and it's a red 998, my absolute FAVORITE motorcycle. It will look good in my living room.

Found it at Toys R Us in Racine for $22.00
